Carbon Footprints
What is a carbon footprint?
Well for a start it's not elephant related!
The short answer here is that your carbon footprint is the negative impact your daily life has on the environment.
It is measured in units of carbon dioxide.(CO2) Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas. Increasing levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere are responsible for global warming and climate change.
There are many Carbon Footprint Calculators available online to help you calculate your personal or household carbon footprint.
We all contribute to global warming throughout each day of our lives either directly or indirectly, however, as individuals we can make small changes that are enough to make a difference.
If we can focus on the positive things we do do instead of all the things we don't do, we can feel less guilty and more positive.
Every little helps!
